Name: Alexander Estrom
Position: SGA President
E-Mail: Estroma@ccsu.edu
Phone: 860-982-8896
Bio: As a former club president and Chair of SUBOG, being involved in SGA has given me a great opportunity to continue what I have learned from my experiences here at CCSU. One of my biggest goals is to make sure that the student voice is heard on campus. Too often decisions are made with little to no student input. I enjoy working with clubs and individual students to resolve the issues facing our students, campus and community.

Name: Alexia B. Reddick
Position: Treasurer
Email: Reddickalb@ccsu.edu
Biography:
I am a junior here at Central Connecticut State University. I am a biology major with a minor in Psychology. When I graduate from CCSU, I plan to attend Medical School. After med-school I will pursue my career as a Pediatric Surgeon. I became a part of the Student Government Association at the end of my freshmen year. I became involved with student government because I felt that our campus needed some improvements, as well as changes. Being a SGA Treasurer creates the opportunity for my voice to be heard on certain issues. I was able to take the concerns of my fellow students and bring them forth to the senate for some changes. In SGA, I am the chair of the Finance Committee. I help the senate allocate money to clubs and organizations. I am also the co-chair of the events committee. My committee plans events for the senate, as well as the whole campus community. I am also co-chair of the Fashion show committee. My goal for the senate is to reach out to the campus and letting them know what student government is all about. I plan to do that participating in all events that senate hosts, and attending other club/organization meetings. I look forward to a wonderful school year.

Biography:
This is my second year on SGA. I was elected last fall as one of the four Freshman Senators. I ran again in the spring of 2007 for a Commuter Senator seat.
This year I was elected the Events Committee Chair, where my committee and I have put on SGA ran events. These events would promote the SGA and give students different programs on campus to participate in. So far we have put together a Late Night Breakfast to Meet ‘n’ Greet the SGA, a Carnival Night Devil’s Den @ 10pm, a Can Drive for the New Britain Food Pantry, a Holiday themed Open Mic Night and the annual spring Fashion Show. While the Fashion Show is just getting off the ground we have looked in the Ronald McDonald House Charity located in New Haven, CT as our charity theme. This year I was also appointed the SUBOG (Student Union Board of Governors) seat for SGA. There I am actively involved in the Student Services Committee enhancing the environment in the Student Center for all students. I am co-chair of the Student Ethics Adhoc Committee, empowered by the SGA to look into Student ethics on campus following the incidents that have occurred with The Recorder. I am also a member of the Finance Committee on SGA where I help to responsible allocate money to Student clubs and organizations.
My largest goal for the SGA is to continually carry out the duties enacted within us. We are a vital aspect to student life and as elected officials we have to duty to do such. I hope that the SGA will be able to properly fulfill the high expectations given to us.

Hi, I am a second term senator on the SGA. I am currently the Co-Chair of Student Life Committee and we are working on many projects. One of our strong points is fixing advising at CCSU. On a personal level I am in the school of business and planning to major in accounting. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Go CCSU Blue Devils!!

Name: Melissa Rosemond
Position: Freshman Representative
Telephone: (203)-676-0225
Email: mm331133@yahoo.com
Bio: My goals as freshman representative of SGA is to provide a good perspective of the wants, needs and worries of our freshmen. I also would like to get the perspectives of the general campus, so that I am not limiting my actions specifically to the freshmen. I plan on coming up with ideas so that the campus can participate in fun educational and safe activities. I also plan on informing the campus on the different issues that may be happening on campus in order to keep us as students safe. I have been getting involved in various groups on campus and I have been learning what some of the students worry about and feel is necessary for them to feel comfortable. I want to insure students that I will try my best to get your ideas heard and make them become a reality. I also would like students to know that I am very qualified for this position because I have participate and have lead many successful groups. Thank for voting for me and I will not let you down.
