What Is L.A.S.O.?
L.A.S.O. is the Latin American Student Organization of Central Connecticut State University. L.A.S.O. is a volunteer student organization comprised of various members representing different Latino communities, which provide social, educational and cultural experiences for the benefit of the university. L.A.S.O. seeks to enhance the Central CT State University campus and surrounding communities through planning, promoting, and producing programs, which represent the interests of Latinos. Membership is open to the entire student body of Central CT State University.
Purpose Of L.A.S.O.
The purpose of L.A.S.O. is to promote awareness and appreciation of the societal and cultural aspects of all Latin American countries. As L.A.S.O. members, we firmly believe in empowering our community through creating and supporting avenues which help our people. We hope to incorporate our purpose into the student life at Central CT State University.
