Christine Fote is a music education major at CCSU and will be graduating in May. This is her first year in Kappa Delta Pi and she is thrilled to be able to promote education as the Vice President of the chapter. Christine decided to become a music teacher so that she could bring music to others and influence students for the better. Her love of teaching music is evident as she directs the AcaBellas, an all-female a cappella singing group here on campus. She is very excited to be a part of such a wonderful group that brings so much to CCSU and the surrounding community and is looking forward to doing many great things with them. |

After spending six years as the director of children’s ministries at my church, I realized that I loved teaching and wanted to pursue a career in teaching elementary school. I am currently a post-baccalaureate student starting my second semester in the School of Education and Professional Studies Professional Program. I was initiated into KDP this past spring and hold the position of treasurer. I am looking forward to another year of personal growth and development at CCSU, and I am excited to be a part of the activities that are being planned this year for our KDP chapter. |

I'm Rebecca LaCross, the technology chair for KDP. I graduated in May '08 with my degree in Elementary Education with a major in English and am now beginning my life in the real world as a teacher! I have been a member of Kappa Delta Pi since last year. I was fortunate enough to be able to go with some of the other members to the Biennial Convocation in Louisville, Kentucky. I learned so much and it was wonderful! I plan to give as much time as I can in helping to make our chapter of KDP as great as it possibly can be now and in the future! |
