Aikido Club purpose shall be to promote Aikido - the way of unity with the fundamental force of the universe; to further knowledge and skill of Aikido; and, to encourage one’s development to their full potential.
Central Car Club promotes knowledge and interest in automotive technologies, sports, and shows; educates students in the field of automotive competition; and encourages interest in automobiles for reasons other than basic transportation.
Central Role Playing Club members participate in role-playing games, such as Dungeons and Dragons, and attend gaming conferences at other campuses and cities.
Central Disk Club practices and competes in disk sports, a healthy, non-competitive activity for students.
Central Triathlon Club promotes an active and healthy lifestyle; creates an environment where individual responsibilities will provide valuable experiences for future endeavors; and encourages athletes to work together as a member of a team while strengthening individual skills.
Chess Club promotes the interest of chess on- and off-campus; develops knowledge of the game's basic fundamentals, tactics, and strategies; and encourages intellectual stimulation.
Equestrian Club shall promote equestrian sports, general knowledge, and proper horse care; to further the availability of equestrian sports to the CCSU community; and, to encourage active participation in the sport as well as proper horsemanship among students.
Fencing Club shall promote martial arts in the safest way possible, to further knowledge and skills in the sport of fencing, to encourage sportsmanship and competition among students.
Hang Gliding Club works to promote the sport of hang gliding in a manner which is organized, enjoyable, and safe.
Ice Hockey Club encourages and promotes the sport of ice hockey, aids students to become better players, and schedules matches against other schools and clubs.
Karate Club is open to male and female students interested in karate, emphasizes physical and mental development, and represents CCSU at demonstrations, competitions, and tournaments.
Lacrosse Club promotes physical well being and sportsmanship through intercollegiate competition in this sport.
Lady Hooligans Woman's Rugby Club promotes the sport of rugby for women, furthers diversity in woman's club sports and encourages physical fitness and competition on the college level.
Men's Rugby Club encourages an understanding of the English sport of Rugby through active participation and promotion of sportsmanship and physical fitness.
Men's Soccer Club promotes recreational sports, health and social interaction on campus; encourages a wide diversity of male participants of age, race, etc.; and encourages a sportsmanlike attitude and school spirit.
Paintball Club builds team skills, educates members about the sport and safety, and provides aerobic exercise and stress relief for members by playing paintball.
Physical Education and Health Fitness Club shall promote health and fitness through exercise and lifestyle adjustment; to further the education of members (faculty, CCSU students, majors, etc.) with wellness information/knowledge; and, to encourage all involved (members, faculty, CCSU-students) to participate in wellness related activities.
Ski and Snowboard Club promotes ski trips, exercise to prepare for athletic events, and education about ski equipment use and care.
Solar Electric Research Team promotes the research of electric and other alternative-energy vehicles. The team allows students real-life engineering and management challenges.
