Greek Life: Fraternities and Sororities

CCSU Greek Life provides students with a unique opportunity to develop their social, academic and leadership skills as well as form life long bonds. Greeks work to better local communities and college campuses nationwide.

Academic excellence- Greek organizations at CCSU often have chapter scholarship programs which can consist of study hours, honor societies, and mentorship programs. Alumni networks are far reaching for members of Greek life and can provide students with networking opportunities in their career field.

Brotherhood/Sisterhood- Student say that the lifelong friends they have made through Greek Life are perhaps the most rewarding aspect of joining their organization. Your brothers and sisters can provide a home away from home at CCSU and provide support and companionship through your transition to college life and beyond.

Leadership- Leadership skills are built and enhanced through being a member of a Fraternity or Sorority. Being Greek provides diverse involvement opportunities through a variety of chapter programming. Greeks are often involved in other organizations and are well rounded leaders on the CCSU campus.

Service- Students gain a sense of citizenship and service to their community through Greek Life. CCSU Greeks have serviced the campus community, the Greater Hartford community, and even the nation through their service efforts and civic engagement.
