Directions to CW Resources

Start on Stanley Street by driving towards the Another Bookstore/Blimpies/Tony’s complex.  Stay on this road until you reach McDonald’s.  On this corner take a slight right (the street you are turning onto is called East Main Street).  You will drive past a few shopping plazas and see a few landmarks (Dollar Dreams, Hollywood Video).  The street name will change into “Myrtle Street,” but stay straight.  CW Resources is the tall building on your left which coincidentally has a large CW logo on it.  Be careful pulling into the driveway as vehicles sometimes park very close to the entrance.

 

 

You’re matched...  Now what?

First Call

The first step in starting your new friendship is to simply call your buddy.  Just talk with them like you would any other friend.  Find out what their interests are, and what is important to them.

Also, you should speak with their parent or guardian not only to introduce yourself, but to find out anything you may need to know about your buddy.

First Visit

Most of our buddies have time during the day that is available for us to come and visit them.  A few days before you visit, make sure to call your buddy to find out if they will be there when you plan to go.  This way, you won’t be disappointed to get there and find that your buddy has a day off, or is out doing the meals on wheels program.

*attend a campus event, such as a hall program or an IRC or CAN event.

*Ask your buddy!  They know what they like best!
