Brian Cruess, a CCSU MIS graduate, will be speaking about his
experience working in the technology field and the types of skills insurance
companies look for when hiring technology professionals. Currently he is working
as an Application Architect at The Group Benefits Division of Hartford Life (The

The MIS Club held it's Kickoff meeting on
Wednesday, September 26th. We were joined with CCSU Alumni who hold positions at
Cigna. They talked about how Cigna's TECDP intern / mentoring program.

The Management Information Systems (MIS) Department here at CCSU is looking
to promote the MIS major and the new MIS minor here at the university. The MIS
Dept. is looking for help to man a table in the student center (across from the
information booth) to do this promoting.
